Embrace Plant-Based

“A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite.” –Leo Tolstoy

Beautiful Cows

I truly believe when you eat animals that have been severely traumatized, abused, tortured, and inhumanly slaughtered, you are

consuming their suffering souls too.  Do you really want to eat an animal genetically manipulated to gain so much weight that its legs can no longer support its enormous body, unable to walk or move, and live in filthy, cramped cages and feedlots?  These animals also suffer through torturous practices such as castration, debeaking, and dehorning without even a painkiller.

Can you envision a female cow who spends her whole life hooked up to a pumping machine, giving birth after birth, every time having her precious babies ripped away from her? Mothers and calves will suffer extreme trauma from this inhuman separation.  Do you realize a typical slaughterhouse kills over 1,000 baby pigs every hour.  Like cows, many are still alive after their throats are slit, hung up, and left to bleed out, then thrown into boiling water to remove their hair.

Are you okay with eating clever chickens, sweet cows, and intelligent pigs who have been beaten, boiled, skinned, and dismembered ALIVE?  Sadly, millions of us do this multiple times a day.  It is not godlike or healthy.

Saying a prayer before eating may make you feel better, but it doesn't keep you from swallowing down an animal's diseased body and tortured soul.

The world murders over 200 million farmed animals every day.

Animals in the food industry are living, breathing, beautiful souls but instead treated like money machines and products on an assembly line. The universal truth is these innocent animals have feelings, and they feel pain, just as you and I do.

With global warming and animal extinction being at the forefront of immediate crises, let this be the time if ever, to make a change.

Open your eyes to this brutality and corruption that is factory farming.  Read labels, buy organic, consider plant-based, and be informed about where your animal protein is coming from.  Only then can you make compassionate and wise decisions for yourself, your family, animals, and the planet.

I have been a Vegan for the majority of my life.  I can honestly say I would not want it any other way.  I love eating plant-based and do not feel I'm missing out on anything. Ever.  I don’t anticipate the entire human race will become plant-based, as much as it would be a wonderful dream.  It’s not difficult, with so many delicious plant-based options available today.  Which include nut-based cheeses that are extremely tasty in comparison to fatty dairy cheeses.  Moreover, adults do not process dairy well - which wreaks havoc on the body.  Don't let the naysayers tell you it's impossible to get enough "good" protein unless you eat animals.  Not true my protein levels are always optimal.

I challenge you to try a plant-based lifestyle. You will love how you feel, and you will be saving precious lives and our planet.
